Nicholas Fintan is a Sydney based artist. After leaving high school he studied painting at the National Art School in East Sydney. His predominate subject is urban and suburban landscapes. He has held two solo exhibitions in Sydney and a joint show with artist Boyd Sanday. He has also exhibited in various group shows. Nicholas has been a finalist in the Heysen Prize for Australian Landscape, The Blake Prize and The Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship in 2010 and in 2011.
